My fascination for eyes has a long history; my father was an ophthalmologist.
Successfully completed the Bachelor study Optometry in Utrecht and with already 20 years of experience.
My expertise lies in binocular vision; cooperation of the 2 eyes. Imbalance can cause many complaints, such as reading and learning struggles. My special interest lies with dry eyes and contact lenses; one of my areas of expertise. There is still a lot of information to be gained in terms of comfort.
I am happy to take up the challenge with you to find a solution by thinking ‘out of the box’!

Lucas Verstraten
Years of experiance in optometry. As son and grandson of opticians I’ve been brought up with a fascination for the job. That’s where I got my passion for optometry.
Succesfully completed the study optometry and now I’m in the last fase of completing a study for contactlensspecialist. I have worked as well as in Zandvoort as in Bloemendaal and gained a lot of experience.
My expertise lies in performing both extensive and very accurate eye exams. In addition, I’m eager to help you find the right eye frame that gives you the perfect look!
I am happy to take on the challenge of realizing a perfect eye measurement, and finding the glasses you are looking for in a professional manner!
